Cactus or Succulent Mix. This soil drains water extremely fast. If you use regular potting soil, mix in lots of perlite or sand to prevent the roots from staying wet.

Very Easy (Low). As a succulent, it needs very little care and thrives on being slightly ignored.

Average Room Temperature (18°C to 24°C / 65°F to 75°F). They can handle a little cooler air in the winter, but avoid cold drafts below 10∘C (50∘F).

Watering

Water deeply, but only when the soil is completely dry. Wait a long time between waterings. In winter, you might only water once a month. Overwatering is the #1 way to kill a Jade Plant!
