Anywhere indoors! It's great for low-light areas like hallways, bathrooms, or offices, but it also does well in brighter spots. It's a fantastic, upright floor plant.

Well-Draining Soil. Because its roots have thick structures (rhizomes) that hold water, it needs soil that dries out fast. Use a mix for succulents/cacti, or a regular potting mix with added perlite.

Extremely Easy (Very Low). It is often called the "impossible to kill" plant. It needs the least amount of attention of almost any houseplant.

Average Room Temperature (18°C to 24°C / 65°F to 75°F). It doesn't like cold air, so keep it away from open windows or drafts in the winter.

Water very rarely! Treat it like a succulent. Wait until the soil is completely dry, and then wait a little longer. Overwatering is the only way most people kill this plant.
